Jim Nabulsi
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I joined the Army in 1987 and made my way to Alaska. I arrived in Alaska in 1994 as a Soldier and stayed until my retirement in 2007. During my time in Alaska, I became a Fishing and Big Game Hunting Guide. I started in 1999 as a packer for various guides.
In 2003 I became an assistant guide, guiding hunters for Brown Bear, Grizzly, Sheep, Moose, and Caribou. I eventually got my guide license and started this company. I have spent over 15 years in the Alaska Range hunting with Rick and guiding clients.
I know the mountains and drainages in our area very well. I have guided over 150 successful clients with safety always at the forefront. To date, we have not had any major injuries or incidents. I take pride in that as Alaska is one of the few places left in the world that is still untamed. It is a true wilderness.
Our hunting area is very vast. We have access to thousands of acres. We have a very good number of Sheep, Moose, Grizzly, and Caribou.
In 2019 we built a cabin. This cabin was a game-changer for us. It sleeps up to 10, and all material had to be flown in. You will see pictures of the cabin on the website. It gives us a warm place to return to after a long days hunt.
For the previous 20 years, it has been wall tents! Our horses know all the trails in these mountains and are very sure-footed. If you have not had the pleasure of hunting from horseback, you are in for a treat.
I currently serve on several different committees and boards, but the big one is the Anchorage Fish and Game Advisory board for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
I do this to ensure that our hunting areas are managed properly and that there will be game in Alaska for my kids and their kids. I hope to see you in camp with us in the near future.
